We welcome international applicants to our full-time vocational Diploma games programs at three sites in Sweden: Stockholm, Boden and Skellefteå where our educations are taught in English by leading professionals from the games industry, and where a quarter of your study will be on internships at top games companies!

NOTE: Applications for a student visa from applicants outside the EU can take up to four months so don’t delay sending your application for this fall as soon as you can! INFORMATION on eligibility Swedish Migration Agency.  For EU citizens the process is simple and you can find out what you need to do here 

 

HOW  TO APPLY

Step 1 – Just send us an email to international@futuregames.nu and we’ll set up a short online Teams meeting to chat. Here we can tell you more about us and how we work and check if you have the basic requirements to apply. We love to talk but If you’re happier just sending us something move on to Step 2!

Step 2 – To make an application we will then need you to send the following basic information to international@futuregames.nu 

  • The name of the program/s you want to apply to
  • Your preferred site/s, Stockholm, Boden, Skellefteå 
  • Records of your qualifications from upper secondary school/high school or equivalent 
  • CV 
  • Personal letter (letting us know why you have chosen the specific program).
  • Last Application May 4, 2021

Step 3 – Once we have confirmed your formal application, we’ll ask you to send us work samples for the program you’re applying to and we’ll also send you written application questions that will help us be sure that we are the right school for you.

Step 4 – We’ll contact you with a decision about whether you have been accepted and if so, guide you through the process of registration, payment of fees, visa application for non-EU applicants, finding accommodation and answer as many of your questions as we can about moving to Sweden!

What kind of diploma do I get?

After a completed program a Professional Diploma is issued by Changemaker Educations/Futuregames.

Where can I find information about visas?

All information about moving to and living in Sweden is available through the Swedish Migration Agency.

Will the school help with accommodation?

You are guaranteed accommodation in Boden and Skellefteå. The school however does not provide accommodation in Stockholm but we can help out by sharing links on where to look for a place to live.

Can I use my previous study to compliment my education?

Previously documented university study can be used as validation for particular courses. In some cases, a student can use this to be credited for a given Futuregames course with a reduction in fees. However, all students must be studying full-time in order to qualify for a student visa.
