Learn how to plan and execute an agile project

This course is designed for anyone who needs to gain knowledge about agile project management; project members, team managers, project managers, project controllers and project board members. This is a self-study course where you decide the pace of your learning through an online-teaching curriculum.

The first start of the course will be on October 3. Thereafter you can apply and start continuously at a time of your choice. 

Course aims

  • Be able to apply agile values and principles in product delivery
  • Be able to use the most common agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean Start-up
  • Understand the cultural challenges agile ways of working imply
  • Continuous focus on delivery of customer value
  • Be able to participate in a self-organizing team, which frequently deliver quality assured products

Course intended learning outcomes

  • An understanding of the agile values and principles
  • An understanding of the most common agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean Start-up
  • Understand team velocity
  • Value driven delivery
  • Agile roles and responsibilities
  • Knowing the users and have them participate actively
  • Tracking progress
  • Tools and techniques in agile projects

Mode of instruction

This is a self-study course that you can complete at your own pace. You will be given access to filmed  lessons (approximately 6 hours), accompanied with cases to work with.

The Agile management course is fully remote and welcomes both national and international students.

No pre-requisites are needed to apply for this course, nor to apply for any of the course modules individually.

Public agencies have also started to use agile methods on a larger scale.
